Not everyone grows up having perfectly straight teeth and a beautiful smile. This may be the result of small jaws and larger teeth, the upper or lower jaw not in the correct relation with the opposing jaw, missing permanent teeth, small permanent teeth, or a variety of other reasons. Whatever the reason might be, the situation can usually be remedied by utilizing orthodontics. Often this is done using traditional braces, but in some cases a nice result can be reached using “invisible” appliances like Invisalign. Treatment time would range from several months to several years depending on the severity of the problem, the growth patterns of the patient, and the cooperation of the patient.

We will do some orthodontics in our office. Several days each month an excellent orthodontic specialist is in our office. If needed, we will refer you to a very competent orthodontist with special training outside our office.
